Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By using FeatureFuel ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
2. What the service is
FeatureFuel lets anyone request a feature for a product or service, vote on requests, and optionally attach a monetary pledge to one. Product owners can claim their product to manage requests and receive pledges.
3. Accounts
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you think your account has been compromised.
4. Content you submit
You keep ownership of the feature requests, comments, and other content you post. By posting, you give FeatureFuel a license to display and distribute it as part of operating the service — including showing it to the relevant product owner. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, or anything defamatory, infringing, or unlawful.
5. Pledges
A pledge is a public statement of intent attached to a feature request. What it means depends on its type, shown at the time you make it:
- Trust pledge — a public promise only. No payment is collected, no card is required, and FeatureFuel does not guarantee or enforce payment. It exists to signal genuine demand.
- Backed pledge tiers (where available) — involve a real payment method and are described in full, including when money moves and under what conditions, at the point you make that specific pledge.
Feature completion is reported by the product owner, not verified by FeatureFuel. We are not a party to any agreement between a requester and a product owner, and we don't guarantee that a pledged feature will be built.
6. Product owners
Claiming a product is subject to our review and can be declined or revoked, including if we find the claim wasn't legitimate. Owners are responsible for how they represent their product and for honestly reporting feature completion.
7. Fees
FeatureFuel may charge a percentage of pledges that settle through the service, and may offer paid subscriptions for additional features. Current rates are shown at the point of the relevant action.
8. Prohibited conduct
- Creating fake accounts, votes, or pledges
- Impersonating a product you don't represent
- Using the service to harass, spam, or defraud anyone
- Attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the service for anyone who violates these terms. You can stop using the service and request account deletion at any time.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that any feature request will be built, that a pledge will result in payment, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FeatureFuel is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including disputes between requesters and product owners.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
