Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

In vim mode, when recording a macro, commands run via command palette are not included in it.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Open file/buffer
2) Type some some phrase in camelCase (e.g. FooBarFooBar)
3) Start recording macro using q<register> (e.g. qa)
4) Start typing :s/\([A-Z]\)/_\1 to add _ before each capitalized letter
5) Press q again to stop recording
6) Add another line with camelCase phrase (e.g. anotherCamelCasePhrase)
7) Try to run macro using @<register> (e.g. @a)

Expected result:

anotherCamelCasePhrase -> another_Camel_Case_Phrase

Actual result:

line is not changed
