Twenty CLI on Homebrew

Source: twentyhq/twenty#28374 · opened by @salmonumbrella
Scope & Context The new twenty CLI only installs through npm (npm install -g twenty). It also refuses to run below Node 24.5, so on any machine where a version manager (fnm, nvm, volta) has an older default, the install succeeds and then the binary exits with twenty requires Node.js >=24.5.0. You end up pinning a Node version just for one CLI, or writing a wrapper. I run it on a few Macs plus a Linuxbrew container, and everything else there comes from Homebrew. Current behavior • npm is the only documented install path • brew install twenty → no formula • the global install lives inside whichever Node version is active, so switching versions makes twenty disappear from PATH Expected behavior brew install twenty, or at least brew install twentyhq/tap/twenty, that pulls in a compatible node as a dependency, so the CLI works no matter what Node the user's shell has active. Homebrew upgrades would then keep it current alongside everything else. Technic…
