Scaleway Transactional Email as a Community emailing domain driver?
Source: twentyhq/twenty#29625 · opened by @rmarquet21
Scope & Context We self-host Twenty (v2.55.0) in France and would like to send campaigns from it. Today a self-hosted instance without an Enterprise plan can only use the RESEND driver (AWS_SES and MAILGUN are Enterprise since #24206). This follows up on #28240. There, you said an EU-only provider would make sense in Community, but that Brevo was too high-level and you would prefer something more infra-level and cheaper. Scaleway Transactional Email (TEM) seems to fit: it is a raw sending API hosted in France (region fr-par), with no contact database, lists or campaign editor of its own. It is pay as you go (300 emails a month included, then per 1,000 emails). Current behavior EMAILING_DOMAIN_DRIVER accepts LOG, RESEND, AWS_SES and MAILGUN. There is no EU-hosted option available to self-hosted Community instances. Expected behavior A SCALEWAY driver, configured with a Scaleway API key, project ID and region, that behaves like the Resend driver for campaigns. Technical input…
