Hide Command Menu items
Source: twentyhq/twenty#23392 · opened by @remihuigen
Although the Command Menu is very useful, it contains a lot of items—so many that some of our users are hesitant to use it because it lacks a clear overview.
I tend to agree with them. In particular, the “Go to…” items take up a lot of space while being rarely used. They also receive just as much visual attention as more useful actions, such as import, export, and viewing deleted records.
I see two possible solutions:
• Allow admins to configure which items are visible in the initial view. Other items would only appear when they match the user’s search query.
• Allow admins to hide specific items entirely, regardless of the search query, using a configurable exclusion list.
