🎨 Conditional formatting
Source: twentyhq/twenty#9452 · opened by @FelixMalfait
This discussion is for conditional formatting and rule-based visual cues across Twenty.
The original user need often starts as "custom column color", but the broader feature is:
• color or style a field based on its value
• highlight overdue dates or SLA breaches
• emphasize priority, health, stage, or risk
• apply formatting in table views, custom layouts, and other record surfaces where quick scanning matters
Questions to cover here:
• Should formatting be field-level, row-level or card-level, or both?
• Which field types should be supported first: select, status, number, date, formula, relation?
• Should rules be view-specific or reusable across views?
• Should formatting be limited to color, or also include icons, badges, and emphasis?
Examples:
• • Smaller duplicate requests can be consolidated here.
