user/role impersonation while testing edge functions in the dashboard

When the feature to write, deploy, and test edge functions directly via the dashboard was announced on YouTube, it was said and shown that you could impersonate a user while testing your edge functions. However [that feature was removed]( apparently after [a bug with it was reported](

If it's not already planned to bring the feature back, it will be great to have that feature. It will save a lot of time with testing any edge function that requires an authorized user.
