Supabase dashboard should rewritten in svelte

Source: supabase/supabase#49452 · opened by @suprabhaat
While Next.js is a powerful and mature framework, Svelte can provide a significantly lighter runtime and lower client-side overhead.

For users who want to get the maximum performance and responsiveness out of their system, reducing unnecessary JavaScript and framework overhead is important. Svelte compiles much of the framework logic away at build time, resulting in smaller and more efficient client-side applications.

A Svelte-based Supabase Dashboard could therefore offer faster navigation, lower memory usage, and reduced CPU overhead—particularly on lower-end machines or when the dashboard is used alongside resource-intensive development workloads such as databases, Docker/Podman, IDEs, and local development servers.

if Supabase wants to maximize dashboard performance, minimize resource consumption, and provide a smoother experience on a wider range of hardware, Svelte would be worth seriously considering.
