Request to Enable External JWT Authentication with Firebase (Project: dropnow-2025)

Hi Supabase Team,

I would like to use Firebase Authentication (Phone OTP) as the auth provider for my Supabase project and authenticate users in Supabase using Firebase-issued JWTs.

Please enable third-party JWT authentication for my Supabase project with the following details:

We plan to use Firebase Authentication (via phone OTP) to sign in users and will include the Firebase ID token in the Authorization: Bearer <token> header when making requests to Supabase.

Please configure Supabase to accept Firebase JWTs and map the sub claim to auth.uid() so that we can use Row Level Security properly.
