I'd love to be able to use h3 for geospatial. Here's some details on why it's awesome (and it definitely is)

Add the h3 extension to the available extension list
Describe alternatives you've considered
Self hosting, handling h3 on the front end, using PostGIS (very heavy for our use cases which are much more similar to the h3 use cases than have geospatial ones)
