[feature]: Email reminders for upcoming start date and due date

Hello. I have only found #3896 which has been closed and states this feature is on the roadmap but a low priority.

I can't believe this is the case. Surely users being notified by email of upcoming start / due dates is absolutely a core feature?

We've been using plane for a long time now, and as our team has grown these missing notifications really have become a problem.

Are they going to be implemented any time soon? What's the plan? And why is this considered low priority?

Why should this be worked on?

This should surely be a core feature? Plus it will keep users coming back to Plane more regularly.
