[feature]: Create Work Item in Workspace Without Entering Project
Source: makeplane/plane#8970 · opened by @crowbait
Is there an existing issue for this? • I have searched the existing issues Summary It would be great to have a "meta-level" work item creation option, which would allow me to add a work item from any screen in Plane, without having to leave it. That form could then simply have drop-downs for choosing workspace and project on which to create the item. The form could, for example, be opened from the top-left menu (where "Your Work" and stuff is) or maybe even a FAB. Why should this be worked on? The screen I'm usually on is the "Assigned Work" one, because it's the only one that not only shows *everything* I have to do regardless of where the work item sits, but also lets me reorder them to prioritize my next steps. If I now want to create a new work item, which isn't possible from that screen, I have to move into a specific project. A sufficiently complex endeavor may best be structured into several "projects": for exam…
