[feature]: Change the Author of the Issue
Source: makeplane/plane#4614 · opened by @mariliatostesdev
Is there an existing issue for this?
• I have searched the existing issues
Summary
Allow users to change the author of an issue to reflect the actual reporter, especially when issues are reported via different channels like email or WhatsApp.
Maybe having a field called “ticket author/owner” or something along those lines.
That way, we could still create issues the client requested, and still make them the author. Or they can create the issue from different channels and we can still edit the author name.
Why should this be worked on?
It ensures organization, by allowing one person to be assigned as the author despite the channel they made the request (by email, bu whatsapp).
Prevents the same person from having multiple author names.
