Display feature request

Is there any way to create a display/view of all tasks given to an assignee and then display the parent tasks with the sub-work items expanded under the related parent automatically. Just wondering as it seems there are only 2 options currently. Either display the sub-work items and they are unorganized as they are sorted separately from their parent, or hide them and then you must click on all the parents each time you open the view to expand out the related sub-work items (which is quite tedious when switching around projects/tabs).
