[Feature Request] Support multi-file documents

Basically same as (unsanswered)

I just set up paperless-ngx in order to try it out and I got stuck on one of the very first documents I tried to upload - it's two .JPG files representing e.g. two different sides of the document (or document plus extra "receipt" sticked onto it).

Uploading two .jpg files led to two independent documents creation. While there is possibility to select multiple docs and click "merge", it doesn't seem to do anything at all (is it for PDF only?).




Of course I could make PDF out of those myself, but it would be quite time consuming given that nowadays I photos way more often than real scanning, so I'd need to preprocess every other document manually from jpg into pdf.

Would be great if the tool supported multi-images documents...
