[Feature Request] Merge documents AUTO title
Source: paperless-ngx/paperless-ngx#12603 · opened by @mobilifone
Description
I’m referring to the merge documents function.
NOW
At the moment you can select multiple documents, arrange their order from a list, and request the merge using option: “Delete original documents after successful merge”.
The result is a new doc with placeholder title like “14912_14911_14876_14878_merged” and other details.
PROPOSAL
ONLY if the option “Delete original documents after successful merge” has been selected, use
• Title,
• Correspondent
• Created date
• document type
• storage path
of the first document in the order list you have arranged.
RESULT
I do not have to change anymore the title and others fields to something that has meaning with the context of document.
