[Feature Request] Ignore documents in trash when showing duplicates

Source: paperless-ngx/paperless-ngx#14707 · opened by @SubWoofer666999
Description

It would be useful if documents in the trash could optionally be ignored when Paperless shows duplicate documents.

Current behavior:
If two identical documents exist and one of them is moved to the trash, the remaining document is still shown as having a duplicate because the trashed document is still counted.

This can be confusing, because from the user's perspective the duplicate has already been resolved.

Suggested behavior:
• do not count documents in the trash as duplicates in the document list
• or add an option such as "Ignore duplicates in trash"
• trashed duplicates could still remain visible inside the trash itself if needed

Example:
Document A and Document B are identical.
Document B is moved to the trash.
Document A should no longer appear in the Duplicates filter.

This would make duplicate cleanup clearer and more intuitive.

Thanks for considering this.
