[Feature Request] Document details disappear when merging as versions
Source: paperless-ngx/paperless-ngx#13954 · opened by @Robubble
Description
When I combined documents as versions, I noticed that the document details will not change when going through those versions.
That way, I can't really tell which version is which document. The only way to know would be to change the version label (hard to do if I don't have access to the Title any longer after version merging).
Also, the date. Especially for versions it would be important to have this kind of data accessible.
There don't seem to be a way to unmerge the versions either, so where is the original metadata after the merging process?
As I see it, every version should be its own metadata still and versions should just add as a stack//pile of documents.
