"Track Changes"-view in editor, to facilitate collaboration
Source: outline/outline#11548 · opened by @ph1248
Hi,
first of all: If there is somthing like that already available, my apologies. But I searched and couldn't find anything.
Feature request:
When editing, I would like to be able to activate a "track changes" view. In this view, all changes with respect to a chosen old version should be highlighted and attributed with the user name who did the change. Similar to the track changes function in MS Word or LibreOffice writer. I want to be able to chose the baseline version from the version history. Default should be the last version I saved myself.
Use case:
When working with several colleagues on one document I need to know who did what to the document; and at the same time I need to work on the document, accept or reject the changes.
Thanks for considering this feature request!
