Show image loading while an image is loading

Currently, if you have a large image which doesn't load immediately on page load, both in the editor and in the public web view nothing happens until it's loaded and then it pops up out of no-where. This suggestion would entail some sort of box that would match the dimensions of the image with some sort of loading screen.
