Show granted sub-trees in place within their collection, rather than only under "Shared with me"

I know changes to the permission model are a big ask and have been discussed here before, so this request leaves the model alone. Access control already works correctly for my use case. The problem is only how granted documents are presented in the sidebar. What I tested I used a cloud workspace, September 2026: • A collection with workspace default access set to No access. • A user who is not a member of that collection. • That user granted "Can view" on one document nested under a parent document in the collection. As that user: 1. The collection does not appear in the sidebar. 2. The granted document is reachable only from "Shared with me" (or search, or a direct link). 3. Documents nested under the granted one open normally, so the grant cascades correctly. 4. Sibling and parent documents stay hidden, so nothing leaks. The permissions are right.
