Prevent email spam

Hey,
Love Outline and what you guys do.
Self-hosted Outline currently sends an email for every single event which happens, which causes my SMTP server to stop working and stops all emails across all services.
I noticed that in the webhook creation page, one can choose which "events" will be sent to the webhook. Can we have similar controls for emails, to choose what events get propagated to users? (For instance, I'd like to only send initial "publishes" and "mentions", and "comments".
