Keyboard shortcut compatibility issue with non US keyboard layout
Source: outline/outline#9824 · opened by @yseraf
After writing several pages with extensive code content, I wanted to use keyboard shortcuts to create code blocks more efficiently. However, I've discovered that this is impossible with my Swiss French keyboard layout due to missing native symbols.
On a Swiss French keyboard, the backslash "\\" requires ALT+<, which means creating a code block would require CTRL+SHIFT+ALT+< instead of the standard CTRL+SHIFT+\\.
My questions:
• Am I missing something in the current implementation?
• Is keyboard shortcut customization a planned feature?
• Is there already a way to configure this through bootstrap settings or other configuration options?
This affects usability for non-US keyboard layouts, and I'd appreciate any guidance or workarounds available.
