Hi team! We're seriously evaluating Outline as our company knowledge base (migrating from Guru), and it fits well on almost everything. The one capability we keep reaching for is a richer, composable Home as an internal "front door," not just a document list. The gap today: Home centers on pinned / recent / starred documents. That's great for finding docs but it doesn't let us communicate, i.e. turn the landing page into a lightweight intranet the whole company sees each morning. What we'd love is the ability to compose Home from a few building blocks: • 📣 Announcements / news: short posts with author + date (optionally pinned or auto-expiring) for company updates. • ⭐ Featured content: curated sections highlighting key collections/docs beyond a flat pin list (e.g. "Start here", "This quarter's priorities"). • 👋 People / team updates: welcome new colleagues, role changes, shout-outs. • 🧱 Simple la…
