Hey there, sorry if this isn't the right place, I wasn't aware of a better one. My company has begun using the "Data attributes" feature quite extensively to manage our internal knowledge documentation. For these purposes I've also built several workflows based on webhooks and the Outline API using data attributes. Given that this is still an undocumented feature that officially doesn't exist, I wanted to voice my support for it and give some feedback on how it could be improved. • First of, this is a fantastic feature. I've seen countless Confluence instances which enforce boxes with a set of key value mappings at the top. Extracting those to metadata makes them a lot easier to use and can be an integral component in document management processes as required by ISO 27001. It also eases the integration of external workflows, as they can parse metadata out of dedicated fields, instead of having to rely on content in the page. That being …
