Feature Request: Granular Privacy Controls for Documents in Public Collections

Overview The ability to set individual document privacy levels within public collections in Outline Wiki, allowing for more flexible access control while maintaining the principle of open knowledge sharing. Current Behavior • Collections in Outline Wiki are currently either entirely public or private • When a collection is public, all documents within it are accessible to all users • No granular control exists for individual document privacy within public collections Proposed Feature Enable document-level privacy controls within public collections, allowing: • Setting individual documents as private while keeping the collection public • Restricting access to specific documents to designated users or groups • Maintaining the collection's overall public status while protecting sensitive content Use Cases 1.
