Disable outbound invite emails when inviting a user via API
Source: outline/outline#12080 · opened by @sypion
At my organization, new users are onboarded in a custom oauth provider platform. We utilize Outline's API to (1) create a new user in Outline using /users.invite and (2) /groups.add_user to add the user to their respective group.
Could a property/boolean be added in the /users.invite API route to disable an invitation email from being sent out to the new user. I'd also like to disable emails being sent to the inviter acknowledging the new user has accepted the invite.
Since an Outline account is created by our OAuth provider platform and we indicate that they now have access to Outline, sending additional emails is redundant and uses up our email sending quota.
