API should have the ability to keep the state of collapsed headings

I have a page which we need to update every release so I have automation with a webhook to update the page. The first issue is that we want to add the new release to the top of the page not at the bottom of the page so I have to pull the whole page and send the whole page back to the api instead of just calling the append api.

We have noticed though that when we run the script which is pushing the whole page back to outline plus the new prefix to the page all the previous headings that we had set as collapsed are now expanded.

Would there be an approach to include that expanded / collapsed state in the markdown so that when the page is pulled from the api then pushed that state will be remembered?
