Align text beside image

Hello, I haven't found any other threads specifically addressing this, so I'm creating one.
Is it possible to align an image on the same line as the text instead of having the image occupy the entire line? I'm thinking, for example, of very small images.
This is currently possible with pictograms (see attached file).
