Additional fields on user profile

We have started actively tagging people in our documents - document owners for procedures, superusers for system documentation, etc.
It would be really nice if there were additional organisational fields on the user profile, such as title and department, which could show up on the profile card when hovering the tags.
Having these fields available to set in your own profile, by an admin, or by API allows anyone to make use of and gain value from this.
