Unique RSS feeds for each mailing list
Source: knadh/listmonk#3274 · opened by @ruebeckscube
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Not particularly; in general I am frustrated when an RSS feed (as a consumer) gets bloated with content I don't want. As I set up my various mailing lists, I would like to offer RSS users the same filtering possibilities as those who use email. Describe the solution you'd like I would like, in addition to the current complete archive of posts, separate RSS feeds/archives to be generated for each mailing list. I think it would make sense for the current opt-in checkbox to publish to both the complete RSS feed and the mailing-list-specific feed, so there would be no changes to the UI other than surfacing the feeds to be visible somewhere. Main design question: if a campaign is sent to multiple lists, it should appear on each of the list's feeds. But if someone is subscribed via RSS to multiple feeds, they may receive duplicates. Not sure the best way to handle that. Depending on how customizable it has to be…
