use_cookie, method and cookie banners

Hi,
We make Cookie Rocks, a cookie consent plugin for WordPress. A 1.5 kB tracker is a pleasure to read, and we'd like to treat Koko Analytics as well as it treats sites.
Cookie Rocks Pro 2.11.0 holds Koko's script until consent, so its cookie isn't set before the visitor's choice. Some site owners may want a count with no cookie where their law allows it.
Could a banner do better? The script sends use_cookie ? 'c' : method[0], and the default method is cookie, so setting use_cookie to false changes nothing on a default site. Is that intended? And is setting method to none before consent a supported way to do this?
We'd like to follow whatever you recommend.
Ready when you are,
Ben, Cookie Rocks
