Feature Request: Reoccurring Auto Payment Receipt

I have a couple customers that have given us a requirement to send a receipt upon payment even if auto drafted. It was a couple at first so we just did it manually, since it didn't take much time out of our day. Now we have grown to about 10 of our customers requiring the same thing.
We were wondering: Is there was any way to have it automatically send a receipt of payment for automatic payments? Or, if the feature doesn't exist, we would like to formally request it to be added to this brilliant software.
