Feature request : Customer Order

Feature request : Customer Order: Is it possible to create something between quotes and invoices, like a customer order, not for something you have to order for the customer but that the customer order to you, because a quote is something you offer and an invoice is the end of the transaction. Sometime we work on big project and we have to do partially invoicing. Something product is BO or job is partially done. So it could be nice to convert quote into order.
