Specify request timeout on a per request basis
Source: Kong/insomnia#4066 · opened by @philogilvie1
I'm a long-time Insomnia user (a paying user too!) and I think it's a fantastic tool, and I use it dozens of times every day.
I believe that request timeouts can only be set globally, but I would like to have the ability to specify request timeout on a per request basis, i.e. I have one system that always takes a minimum of 130s to respond (i.e. over two minutes in case you thought I meant ms), but I don't want to have to set the global timeout that high, as most of my requests complete in ~400ms. I've searched through the Kong/insomnia Git repo and can't find it as a feature request, so hopefully this isn't a duplicate. Ideally it would be one of the options under "Request Settings".
Hopefully I'm not the only one who thinks this would be a useful addition to Insomnia functionality so keen to hear feedback from others.
Kind regards,
Phil Ogilvie
