Please provide a way to set up environments from external files (CSV or JSON)
Source: Kong/insomnia#5490 · opened by @gh-andre
Many projects generate test data preloads for their databases, which include test users, authentication, entities, etc. This happens routinely, sometimes with every build, and every time it does, Insomnia environments must be edited in a bunch of places to accommodate new data.
For comparison, JMeter will read a CSV dataset, which can be used to supply users, entities, authentication, etc, and can be generated when database preloads are generated.
Please, provide some way to read either whole environments or elements of environments from some external source. It can be a CSV file with some header field mappings to environment fields or something similar.
