flatpak package outdated, official update required

Source: Kong/insomnia#7651 · opened by @thommierother
the download page at different package formats including the Ubuntu-related snap. Whats still missing is an up-to date version for flatpak. I learned from Insomnia Support at [email protected], that the current flatpack version provided from the community and not official yet. On SUSE systems (even on the dev-oriented Tumbleweed), you still see a totally outdated version from 2023:

A growing number of distros are using flatpak as a cross-distro deployment solution. The pressure increases as we see more and more distros which implement "immutable linux" deployments (e.g. Fedora Silverblue, SLES 16). Therefore its high time to provide an official and up-to-date version of Insomnia as a flatpak package.
