Mobile app: the ability to view your album in full screen when navigating via the map

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature
When you view the photos taken at a specific location on the map, the top 1/5th of the screen is cut off and it's quite annoying especially when you're trying to navigate a large volume of photos. See [here]( Is it possible to expand this all the way up? the top left button (the purple one) could then be used to push it back down or toggle back to map view.
