[Feature] Suggestions on usage and bug reports
Source: immich-app/immich#31436 · opened by @fain126
I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
• Yes
The feature
1. Why can't we rename tags? Currently, I can only delete the tag and recreate it, which is inconvenient.
2. Sometimes tags fail to be added. It shows the operation succeeded, but the tag is not actually applied.
3. For files mounted in external libraries, is it possible to store file metadata (description, rating, tags, assigned albums, shares, etc.) based on file hashes? This way, even if I rename or move the source file in the external library directory, existing metadata for the file can still be retained after a rescan without data loss.
4. For shared files, could we add a button to quickly get the direct raw link of the file?
