Feature] Read only albums (for old albums)

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

Some of us make albums per range of dates or specific events (a trip, a party etc), so when all the photos are added to that album it becomes "clossed" (I will not add anything else). When there are several of these albums, adding photos to more recent albums that are still "open" can get messy, and by error photos can be added to "closed" albums.

It would be amazing to easily make an album "read only". This could be changed in the settings of the album, to easily toggle the option in case the album becomes "open" again. I am sure a fracture like this would help more than some out there.
