[Feature][Question] Improved duplicate handling during import
Source: immich-app/immich#7115 · opened by @cejote
The feature
When uploading images via import, I get a duplicate image notification. Unfortunately, I do not know which items are considered to be duplicates. It would be great to have a list of all rejected images, maybe also naming the existing/conflicting asset.
I am also adding this feature request since I am pretty sure that my uploaded files were free of duplicates. I now wonder how the actual test is implemented. I assume that the hash is generated for the image data part of the uploaded file but I am also wondering if my pictures in burst mode are rejected because they are too similar (image content, time stamp).
Thanks,
