Especially since on iOS you're not able to safely put the immich app in the background, since then most of the time the syncronisation/backup task is cancelled and not continued in the background). Reopening the app from the background or if something else happens, immich is restarting the upload of an already partially uploaded video file at the very beginning (0 megabytes). If this is happening at for example 90% after waiting half an hour to reach that, all that time waiting to upload was pointless. I therefore suggest to divide the videofile into pieces/chunks of for example 1 MB size and stitching them back together on server side.
