[Feature] Delete Unassigned Faces
Source: immich-app/immich#19588 · opened by @clari7744
I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
• Yes
The feature
There is an option to "Delete X face from asset" when it's assigned to a person already. However, if it's "unassigned", i have to assign it to a person, save, and then reenter the edit menu to delete it properly. This is super annoying if it's recognizing something that's literally not a person. Google Photos has an option when managing faces to "Remove photos from this person" with the reason of "not a person". Immich's solution is to delete the face individually from each asset, which is nice for control, but since it requires the face to be assigned first, not super helpful.
TL;DR please add the Delete button to unassigned faces
