[Feature] consistent behaviour for map side panel
Source: immich-app/immich#27131 · opened by @duineamh
I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request. • Yes The feature Hi all, the new Map side panel in the web view is really nice! Makes browsing photos with same/similar cooridantes much more convenient! What I do not like so much, is the slight inconsistency in usage: When clickin on a singular photo, it opens directly, when clicking on a cluster it opens the sidepanel. I would find it more consistent to have the same behaviour here: Clicking on a singularly shown photo also opens the side panel (with just that photo inside) from where I can click it again to have it in full view. That way, the initial click on the map (be it on a photo or a cluster) would behave the same. Might be controversial. just sharing the idea - it's basically a matter of opinion: same behaviour vs. number of clicks to reach a photo. Maybe an option switch in the preferences might control this?
