[Feature] Allow users to choose storage display units
Source: immich-app/immich#32825 · opened by @zlooun
I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request. • Yes The feature I'd like to have an option to manually choose which units Immich uses to display storage statistics. Currently, the storage widget automatically selects the units based on the amount of storage used. For example, it displays values in TiB even when I'd prefer to see them in GiB. It would be useful to have a setting with the following options: • Auto — keep the current automatic behavior. • GiB — always display values in gibibytes. • TiB — always display values in tebibytes. • GB — always display values in gigabytes. • TB — always display values in terabytes. For example, instead of automatically displaying 1.2 TiB / 21.8 TiB, I could choose to display the same values in GiB or decimal TB. This would be especially useful for NAS users with large storage volumes who prefer consistent units…
