Faster Way to Curate Albums with Full Size View of Photos
Source: immich-app/immich#10602 · opened by @cr0n76
(I accidentally wrote this already in a closed discussion so decided to create a new thread. Thanks for overlooking my confusion.) I would like to propose a better UX experience to curate albums while checking photos in full size view. To elaborate: An example where this is useful is when you have multiple sets of similar photos (e.g. multiple photos of the same moments or situations) where you want to have only one or two of these photos per moment/situation in the album. A normal approach is to open the photos in full size viewer to better be able to decide which photo to have in the album. As there might be hundreds of photos in an album it is beneficial to minimize the amount of clicks / taps. In general you can do this constructive (a) or destructive (b). a) open the photo in full size viewer from timeline and then click the three dot menu, choose "add to album" and chose the album (three clicks) in webview or tap on the plus and choose the album (two taps) in mobile…
