Add configurable polling interval and request timeout to the Palazzetti integration
Source: home-assistant/core#188215 · opened by @Samquad
The problem Hello I am using the Palazzetti integration in Home Assistant with a pellet stove connected to my local network through the Palazzetti CBOX module. Previously, I used the version of this integration installed via HACS, which worked very well with my setup. Since the integration was incorporated directly into Home Assistant Core, I have been experiencing communication issues: my stove and/or the CBOX module seem to take too long to respond when queried too frequently. In particular, repeated HTTP requests to the GET alls endpoint can significantly slow down the CBOX module, resulting in delayed responses and sensors becoming unavailable in Home Assistant. This behaviour appears to depend on the stove model and its configuration, as some devices may require more time than others to respond to requests. I would therefore like to be able to adjust the polling interval and request timeout to better accommodate my hardware and avoid overloading the CBOX module. <img w…
