It's not clear that the Library auto-expands or that a placeholder is empty: (1) If I open the library initially, nothing indicates that there isn't a component to re-use. Perhaps hide empty ones while nothing is selected? If it's completely empty, it's good to keep a single placeholder with a flashing + button, perhaps with a tooltip.
