Search Field widget default value and action redirect hooks

Prerequisites • I have searched for similar feature requests in both open and closed discussions and cannot find an existing request. • I have verified that the feature is still missing from the latest stable versions of Elementor or Elementor Pro. What problem is your feature request going to solve? Please describe.. I am using the new Search Field Widget and have come across two issues, that could use some improvements. 1. The search form has hard coded the home_url() URL in the action attribute. This is a problem, because we use Polylang to display content in different languages and the home_url() will not consider this. I could then use the get_home_url() filter, but then that would hit all page loads, not just in the search form field. 2. On the search result page, I think it would be nice user experience to have the search form field populated with the search criteria, if there is one. Describe the solution you'd like. 1.
