Prerequisites • I have searched for similar features requests in both open and closed tickets and cannot find a duplicate. • The feature is still missing in the latest stable version of Elementor ( Elementor Pro ) What problem is your feature request going to solve? Please describe. In the current version of Elementor's loop grid widget, the ordering field provides various options for sorting but lacks the ability to default to the underlying query's sorting. This is limiting for developers who want to control the sorting using pre_get_posts or other methods and want the widget to respect that sorting. The lack of an option to default to the underlying query's sorting forces developers to work around this limitation, complicating the development process.
